        "content": "<p>PT Jasa Raharja has assured that all victims\u2014both the injured and the\ndeceased\u2014in the train accident incident at Bekasi Timur Station on\nMonday, 27 April 2026, will receive compensation entitlements in\naccordance with applicable provisions.<\/p>\n<p>This was stated by the President Director of Jasa Raharja, Muhammad\nAwaluddin, during a visit to the injured victims of the train accident\nat Primaya Hospital in Bekasi on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Awaluddin assured that his side moved immediately after the accident\noccurred and coordinated with relevant parties, including PT Kereta Api\nIndonesia (KAI), the police, and hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, it has been handled well. From Jasa Raharja, all\nvictims have been handled well and received their accident guarantee\nrights,\u201d said Awaluddin.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, all victims will receive compensation from Jasa\nRaharja in accordance with applicable provisions. The amount of\ncompensation from Jasa Raharja includes: Rp20 million for injured\nvictims, and Rp50 million for the heirs of deceased victims.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Awaluddin continued, the injured and deceased victims\nwill also receive compensation from PT Asuransi Jasaraharja Putera (a\nsubsidiary of PT Jasa Raharja), which has partnered with PT KAI for\npassenger train accident insurance, amounting to Rp30 million for\ninjured victims and Rp40 million for the heirs of deceased victims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe assure that for deceased victims, after the administration is\ncompleted within 2x24 hours, the compensation value will be given to the\nvictims\u2019 families. But for injured victims, it will be handled by the\nhospital side, and later it will be given according to the determined\nceiling,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>To date, the number of fatalities from the collision incident between\nthe Commuter Line train and the long-distance train at Bekasi Timur\nStation, West Java, on Monday night, has increased to 14 people.<\/p>\n<p>PT KAI President Director Bobby Rasyidin stated that based on the\nlatest data as of 08:45 WIB, 14 people have died.
