"summary": "Apple's anticipated new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, originally expected in late 2026, are now likely to launch in early 2027 due to global memory chip supply shortages. The updated Mac Studio, featuring advanced M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, is projected for announcement at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2026, with shipments starting in October 2026. This delay highlights ongoing supply chain challenges affecting high-end tech product rollouts, potentially impacting consumer access to next-generation Apple devices.",
"content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Global memory chip supply limitations are\nreportedly poised to delay the launch of two new Apple devices: the\nlatest-generation MacBook Pro and Mac Studio. Bloomberg journalist Mark\nGurman, in a report cited by Macrumors on Sunday (19\/4), indicated that\nthe 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, previously expected to debut\nat the end of 2026, now stand a chance of arriving in early 2027. Gurman\nalso forecasted that the Mac Studio would be announced around mid-2026,\ncoinciding with the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.\nInternal Apple sources estimate that the device will not begin shipping\nto consumers until around October 2026 due to chip supply constraints.\nThe macOS 27 operating system will introduce a more touch-friendly\ninterface for navigation. Meanwhile, the latest Mac Studio generation\nwill be equipped with newer M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips. In comparison,\nthe current Mac Studio model uses a combination of M4 Max and M3 Ultra\nchips, as Apple has yet to release an M4 Ultra variant. Beyond\nperformance enhancements, few design changes are expected for the\ndesktop device. Amid the current memory limitations, the Mac Studio is\nanticipated to launch around October 2026, while the touch-screen\nMacBook Pro will arrive no later than January 2027.<\/p>",
