        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 The Director General of BPJS Kesehatan, Mayjen TNI (Purn)\nPrihati Pujowaskito, has ensured that BPJS Kesehatan members in the PBI\n(Contribution Assistance Recipients) segment can continue to receive\ncare during the 2026 Lebaran holiday period.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor deactivated PBI members who require catastrophic services such\nas dialysis, they will continue to be served throughout the Lebaran\nholiday,\u201d said Pujo during a press conference at BPJS Central Office,\nCempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, on 9 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Pujo stated that the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is currently\nconducting field verification checks on 11 million BPJS PBI participants\nwho were deactivated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are always awaiting developments from the Ministry of Social\nAffairs and BPS. If we are given a list to transfer segments or if the\nMinistry reactivates them, we will continue to provide services,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will wait for a letter from the Ministry of Social Affairs\nregarding segment transfers for participants. In any case, we will\ncontinue to provide services,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf, known as Gus\nIpul, announced that 42,000 of the 11 million BPJS Kesehatan\nparticipants are confirmed to remain as PBI JKN (National Health\nInsurance beneficiaries).<\/p>\n<p>Gus Ipul stated that the reactivation process is continuing in line\nwith the updating of membership status based on the National\nSocio-Economic Data Registry (DTSEN).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf the 11 million PBI participants deactivated in February 2026,\n106,153 beneficiaries have been automatically reactivated and 44,500\nhave been reactivated through regular procedures, with over 42,000\nbecoming active again as PBI-JK beneficiaries,\u201d said Gus Ipul at the\nMinistry of Social Affairs office, Salemba, Central Jakarta, on Monday\nevening, 2 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Gus Ipul confirmed that the process of updating PBI JKN membership\nstatus data aims to ensure that government health insurance subsidies\nreach poor and near-poor populations, specifically the bottom 40 per\ncent (Deciles 1-5).<\/p>",
