Dave Koz to perform in five cities in Indonesia<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Contemporary jazz star Dave Koz will perform in
\nfive cities in Indonesia for the next week following his
\nperformance on Friday in Bogor, the shows' organizer A Mild Live
\nProduction said.<\/p>\n
The American saxophonist is scheduled to perform in Yogyakarta
\non Sunday, Bandung (West Java) on Monday, Surabaya (East Java) on
\nWednesday) and Semarang (Central Java) on April 24. He will
\nperform in Jakarta twice, on April 18 in the Mulia Hotel and
\nApril 23 in JAMZ music lounge.<\/p>\n
Koz will perform songs from his latest album, The Dance with
\nmusicians Tony Maiden on guitar, Holbert Sharpe on bass, Stephen
\nTheard on drums and Brian Simpson on the keyboard. The songs
\nincluding I'm Waiting for You, Together Again, and Right by Your
\nSide, are dedicated to the memory of his father, who died in
\n1997.<\/p>\n
Dave is known for his easy-listening jazz songs including his
\nfirst hits from 1990, Nothing But the Radio On and Castle of
\nDreams. His Faces of the Heart from the 1993 album Lucky Man was
\nused as the theme song for popular American soap opera General
\nHospital and he has recorded with other musicians including
\nCeline Dion, U2, Curtis Stigers, Phil Perry and Julio Iglesias.
