        "content": "<p>Danareksa to acquire NVPD<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Danareksa yesterday announced plans to<br>\nacquire a 51 percent stake of PT NVPD Soedarpo Corporation, a<br>\nsmall pharmaceutical distributor.<\/p>\n<p>The company offered to purchase 6,961,050 Soedarpo shares at a<br>\nprice of Rp 2,775 (US$1.15) per share .<\/p>\n<p>The new price exceeds a NVPD Soedarpo share price peak<br>\nrecorded within 90 days before the announcement, by Rp 25.<\/p>\n<p>Danareksa claims to presently own 450 Soedarpo shares and<br>\nplans to increase ownership to 51 percent by acquiring another<br>\n6,961,050 shares.<\/p>\n<p>The share acquisition will be made on the Jakarta Stock<br>\nExchange and\/or the Surabaya Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>A private bank owned by conglomerate Gajah Tunggal group, Bank<br>\nDagang Nasional Indonesia (BDNI) said that Danareksa had<br>\nsufficient funds to complete the purchase.<\/p>\n<p>Sources at Danareksa and NVPD Soedarpo contacted yesterday<br>\nwere not available for comment.
