        "content": "<p>Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Danantara, Pandu Sjahrir, explained\nthat the Badan Pengelola Investasi (BPI) is targeting a renewable energy\ncooperation project in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>The investment value for the project reaches Rp 518.74 trillion,\nequivalent to US$30 billion.<\/p>\n<p>This project involves collaboration on developing solar panel\ninfrastructure and cross-border transmission networks.<\/p>\n<p>This investment will not only impact Singapore but will directly\nbenefit Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Danantara is involved in building the Indonesia-Singapore\ntransmission line.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is currently still in the discussion stage, including how\nthe cooperation scheme will be realised.<\/p>\n<p>Several private companies have already reached agreements with\nSingapore beforehand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause the desire (for RI-Singapore cooperation) can also bring a\nlot of value to Indonesia, and we will also have to make those solar\npanels. Later, we will definitely produce for Indonesia as well. So\nthere are many added values,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>The education sector, food security, industrial downstreaming, and\nthe utilisation of waste as energy are part of efforts for sustainable\neconomic transformation, which is a priority programme of the\ngovernment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn that limited meeting, the President discussed accelerating the\nimplementation of national strategic programmes, including in the fields\nof education, food security, industrial downstreaming, and the\nutilisation of waste as energy,\u201d explained Cabinet Secretary (Seskab)\nTeddy Indra Wijaya on Thursday (16\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>It is hoped that accelerating the government\u2019s priority programmes\nwill bring prosperity to all Indonesian people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis meeting is a strategic step in following up on the\nstrengthening of cooperation between Indonesia and partner countries,\nwhile also encouraging cross-sector synergy to support economic growth\nand equitable national development in the future,\u201d Teddy stated.<\/p>",
