Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — For people hunting for affordable housing,
the Danantara Housing Expo 2026 could be one option. The exhibition,
organised by the government together with the Daya Anagata Nusantara
Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara), offers a variety of
housing choices as well as Home Ownership Credit (KPR) schemes with
relatively low interest rates.

The Danantara Housing Expo 2026 officially opened on Thursday
(27/8/2026) and runs for four days until 30 August 2026 at NICE PIK 2,
Jakarta. The exhibition is part of the government’s efforts to support
the 3 million homes programme, one of the priority programmes of
President Prabowo Subianto’s administration.

Danantara CEO Rosan P. Roeslani said the exhibition is designed to
connect the public with housing supply from various developers, while
providing more affordable financing access. “If we look at the event
this morning, prices vary from Rp120 million up to the highest level of
Rp2 or 3 billion,” Rosan said at the Danantara Housing Expo 2026 on
Thursday (27/8/2026).

Not only offering homes across a wide price range, the exhibition
also presents financing schemes from banks in the Association of
State-Owned Banks (Himbara). Rosan said the public can obtain KPR
facilities with a down payment (DP) starting from 1%. Meanwhile,
interest rates are offered starting from 2.75% per year with a fixed
scheme that then increases gradually.

Furthermore, the KPR tenors offered can reach 30 to 40 years.
Interestingly, the facility is also exempt from several fees that
usually arise in the KPR application process. “The tenor as well —
perhaps in banking it has only been 10 or 15 years, we can provide up to
30 or even 40 years. And most importantly, this is also free of
administration, provision, and appraisal fees,” Rosan said.

According to Rosan, access to affordable housing remains a major need
in Indonesia. Based on data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) as of March
2026, around 9.29 million households still do not own a home. In
addition, around 18 million households still live in dwellings that do
not meet liveability standards.

“If we cover all existing segments, and certainly with those figures,
it shows that the need for housing is a very high priority,” he said. To
meet this need, Danantara together with the Ministry of Housing and
Settlement Areas (PKP) will continue to encourage the provision of
housing that meets decent living standards for the public.

At this exhibition, more than 120,000 property options are available
from more than 130 state-owned and private developers. The housing
choices are divided into three zones: First Home, Family Home, and
Premium Living. Rosan said there are 10 show homes that visitors can
view directly. From the state-owned developer side, 12 developers are
bringing around 16,559 units from 98 projects spread across 23
provinces.

The total inventory value of these state-owned properties reaches
Rp9.79 trillion. Of that amount, 6,611 units are intended for low-income
communities (MBR), while 9,948 units are non-MBR housing. Danantara is
targeting the exhibition to attract more than 50,000 visitors over the
four days.
",
