        "content": "<p>The Investment Management Agency Danantara (BPI Danantara) has\nestablished a new company named PT Daya Energi Bersih Nusantara, or\nDenera, on 1 April 2026. This corporation, which is a state-owned\nenterprise (BUMN), operates under PT Danantara Investment Management and\naims to manage Waste-to-Energy Electricity (PSEL) projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDenera will hold the shares, operations, and management for all PSEL\nprojects under Danantara Investment Management,\u201d said Director of\nInvestment at PT Danantara Investment Management, Fadli Rahman, during a\ndiscussion at Wisma Danantara on Thursday, 9 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Fadli explained that the BUMN will become an integrated company in\nwaste management. Management will also address waste transportation from\nvarious Temporary Disposal Sites (TPS) and provide education to the\npublic for better management.<\/p>\n<p>Danantara aims to gradually improve waste management in society from\nupstream to downstream. Efforts are being made to reduce accumulated\nwaste ending up in Final Disposal Sites (TPA) or dumped\nindiscriminately.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will also focus in the future on waste other than household\nwaste, such as industrial waste,\u201d Fadli added.<\/p>\n<p>Managing Director of Stakeholders Management &amp; Communications at\nDanantara Indonesia, Rohan Hafas, stated that Denera will also\nparticipate in the site feasibility assessment process for PSEL\ndevelopment. The company will work with the Ministry of Environment and\nForestry to consider the readiness and commitment of local\ngovernments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, together (with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry),\u201d he\nsaid on the same occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, PSEL projects are located in Greater Bogor and Greater\nDenpasar, managed by Danantara\u2019s Chinese partner company, Zhejiang\nWeiming Environment Protection Co.\u00a0Ltd.\u00a0Additionally, there is one in\nBekasi managed by Wangneng Environment Co., Ltd.<\/p>",
