The company, PT Danantara Sumber Daya\nIndonesia (DSI), will begin operations on June 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Danantara Indonesia\u2019s Managing Director of Stakeholder Management and\nCommunication, Rohan Hafas, said DSI will operate in two phases.<\/p>\n<p>The first phase, running from June through December 2026, will see\nDSI act as both an appraiser and an exporter. \u201cDSI will serve as an\nintermediary in the export process to foreign markets for certain\ncommodities,\u201d Rohan said at Wisma Danantara in Jakarta on Wednesday, May\n20, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In this initial phase, DSI will appraise and mediate transactions\nbetween vendors and purchasers of strategic commodities intended for\nexport. In the second phase, DSI will function as a trading company,\ndirectly purchasing and selling export goods on the international\nmarket.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rohan, transactions will be conducted based on\ninternational market prices, a measure expected to curb underinvoicing\npractices that harm state revenue.
