TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Danantara Chief Executive Officer Rosan Roeslani\nsaid the management of his financial institution comprises individuals\nwho are competent in their respective fields.<\/p>\n

Despite claiming he received no directives from the head of state,\nRosan said President Prabowo also reviewed the management selection\nprocess at the time. \u201cThe President looked at each CV one by one, and he\nsaid, okay.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rosan said Prabowo reviewed the candidates\u2019 personal data including\ntheir names, educational background, qualifications, and work\nexperience.<\/p>\n
When establishing Danantara, Rosan recounted that he received\nassistance from both foreign and domestic headhunters. \u201cAt least three\nnames with all the CVs \u2014 we interviewed them together as well,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Rosan said Danantara is composed of the best individuals because the\nfinancial institution faces formidable challenges. \u201cPerhaps it is easy\nfor me to talk about how we will invest here and there, but we still\nhave responsibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n
As the head of Danantara, he committed to ensuring the institution\u2019s\nworking processes are conducted transparently and with integrity. \u201cThese\nare the principles that will guide us in running Danantara going\nforward,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He noted that the Indonesian public holds high expectations for\nDanantara. According to him, the public is also curious about the\ninvestments being made by the institution. What is clear, he said, is\nthat Danantara will conduct thorough due diligence on financial, legal,\ntechnical, and administrative aspects.
