        "content": "<p>TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Danantara (Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata\nNusantara) CEO Rosan Roeslani has stated that Ray Dalio remains with the\norganisation. He said he had just met with Dalio\u2019s son, Mark Dalio, and\nhis team the previous week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just met his team last week, including his son Mark Dalio. The\ndiscussions went smoothly,\u201d he said at the Presidential Palace Complex\nin Central Jakarta on Wednesday, 28 May 2025.<\/p>\n<p>He denied reports that the founder of hedge fund Bridgewater\nAssociates had cancelled his role as a Danantara adviser. \u201cI just met\nwith his team yesterday and had a Zoom call as well. There is nothing \u2014\nhe has not left Danantara,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Danantara Chief Information Officer Pandu Sjahrir said he was unaware\nof reports that Dalio had stepped down from the institution. He\nconfirmed he had also met with Mark Dalio and his team the previous\nSunday. \u201cHis son [Mark Dalio] joined us and others last Sunday,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Bloomberg reported that Ray Dalio had reportedly resigned\nfrom his position as Danantara adviser, citing personal reasons for his\ndecision.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo Subianto had earlier invited Ray Dalio and a number\nof Indonesian conglomerates to discuss Danantara at Merdeka Palace in\nCentral Jakarta on Friday afternoon, 7 March 2025. During that meeting,\nRosan said Dalio had provided extensive input on developing\nDanantara.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rosan, Dalio offered advice on partnerships,\ninitiatives, and the sectors Danantara should focus on. \u201cSo what form of\ncooperation, what initiatives, and what fields to pursue,\u201d Rosan\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Rosan added that Dalio also compared Indonesia\u2019s Danantara with\nsovereign wealth funds (SWFs) of other countries such as China.\nDanantara should be open to adopting programmes from those nations\u2019\nSWFs. \u201cWe are open to this as well. We can adopt and naturally adapt\nthem to conditions in Indonesia,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Rosan said Dalio advised Danantara to collaborate with\nbusiness leaders, though such cooperation must be conducted openly and\ntransparently.
