The designation
of the second-wave DPT includes additional companies and new consortia,
and also includes participants from the first wave.

The significant increase from 24 participants in the first wave to 85
participants in the second wave reflects the high interest and
confidence of business players in the PSEL programme, which will be
managed by PT Daya Energi Bersih Nusantara (Denera), a subsidiary of
DIM.

The DPT second wave also shows the widening of global participation,
with the involvement of companies and consortia from various countries,
including Indonesia, Singapore, India, South Korea, China, Japan and
France. This expansion enriches the range of technology options,
financing structures, and partnership models in the development of
PSEL.

National company participation is also strongly visible in this
second wave, with 16 local companies recorded in the DPT gelombang kedua
consortium.

This reflects the domestic industry’s readiness to engage more in the
development of large-scale waste processing infrastructure, in line with
the mandate in Presidential Regulation No. 109 of 2025 to continue to
consider the involvement of domestic industry players in big-scale waste
processing infrastructure.

Fadli Rahman, CEO of Denera and Director of Investment at DIM, said
that the increase in participants from domestic and international
sources demonstrates that the PSEL programme has strong investment
appeal and is run with credible governance.

“We remain committed to ensuring that all PSEL partner selection
processes are conducted transparently and competitively, so as to
produce partners capable of supporting integrated waste management and
contributing to solving Indonesia’s waste emergency,” Fadli said, quoted
from the official statement, Friday (22 May 2026).

As the next step, DIM will issue the Terms of Reference (ToR) to
participants who passed the DPT BUPP PSEL and will provide further
information on the schedule and procedures for the next stage in a
separate notice.

The list of 85 entities declared to have passed the DPT BUPP PSEL
second wave can be viewed on Danantara Indonesia’s official website.
",
