The Director General of Customs and Excise, Djaka Budhi Utama, has\nconfirmed that the data exchange cooperation between his agency (DJBC)\nand PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI) is ongoing, following\nGovernment Regulation (PP) number 24 of 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cRegarding the data exchange cooperation between the Ministry of\nFinance and DSI, this has been implemented as continuous cooperation as\na follow-up to PP number 24 of 2026,\u201d said Djaka during an APBN press\nconference at the Juanda Building, Jakarta, on Friday (18\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n
Djaka emphasised that this data exchange cooperation is intended to\nstrengthen the governance of strategic natural resource commodity\nexports, which include coal, crude palm oil, and ferroalloy.<\/p>\n
He explained that the Directorate General of Customs and Excise has\nprepared a mechanism allowing exporters to submit data to DSI at the\ntime of submitting export declarations (PEB) through the CEISA\nsystem.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, the data inputted by exporters will be processed and\nanalysed by PT DSI, the results of which will be periodically submitted\nto and discussed with the Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n
Separately, the Managing Director of Global Relations &\nCommunications at BPI Danantara, Pahala Nugraha Mansury, stated that\nthey will integrate domestic internal data from several ministries,\nparticularly Customs, including data from ports and commodity shipping\npoints.<\/p>\n
In addition, DSI is also coordinating commodity matters with the\nlargest importing countries for Indonesia\u2019s three main commodities.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith these measures, we hope to ensure the consistency of such data\nto verify that what has been recorded\u2014including transaction volumes,\nprices, specifications, and existing contracts\u2014has indeed been conducted\nunder good governance principles. This is the primary objective, as\nstated by the President,\u201d he told CNBC Indonesia, as quoted on Friday\n(18\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n
Pahala also emphasised that the presence of PT Danantara Sumber Daya\nIndonesia (DSI) will not disrupt market certainty or the commodity trade\necosystem. In this regard, DSI continues to respect the contracts and\ntrade agreements made by exporters with buyers, including commodity\nprocurement contracts for 2027.<\/p>\n
Fundamentally, DSI\u2019s initial focus aligns with the primary mandate\nfrom President Prabowo Subianto, which is to ensure that all strategic\ncommodity transactions are properly recorded.
