        "content": "<p>Danamon Intends to Integrate Its Operations with MUFG Indonesia\nBranch<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta, 11 May 2026 \u2013 PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (\u201cDanamon\u201d, IDX:\nBDMN), a consolidated subsidiary of MUFG Bank, Ltd., announced today\nthat it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MUFG Bank,\nLtd.\u00a0to explore a potential integration of Danamon and MUFG Bank, Ltd.,\nJakarta Branch (\u201cMUFG Indonesia\u201d). If successfully implemented, the\nintegration would optimally combine the global and nationwide strengths,\nexpertise, and network of both entities to become one of the leading\nglobal financial institutions in Indonesia, offering financial solutions\nto a wider spectrum of customers, deliver value to all stakeholders, and\ncontribute to the growth of Indonesia\u2019s financial services industry and\nthe Indonesian economy.<\/p>\n<p>At this stage, both Danamon and MUFG Indonesia have agreed to\ncommence preparatory work with a view toward entering into a binding\nagreement at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed structure of the integration would be set out in an\nIntegration Plan, which would be submitted to the relevant authorities,\ndisclosed to public, and proposed for approval by shareholders in\naccordance with applicable laws and regulations. The integration remains\nsubject to approvals from the relevant authorities and Danamon\u2019s\nshareholders. We expect the integration will take effect within\n2027.<\/p>\n<p>Until the integration is completed, there will be no changes to the\nbusiness operations of Danamon and MUFG Indonesia:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Customers of Danamon and MUFG Indonesia may still continue to\ntransact and utilize their respective products and services as usual,\nwith no changes to the existing products and services, general current\noperating hours, or branch networks.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>All contractual relationships between Danamon or MUFG Indonesia\nand their respective contractual counterparties, including vendors,\ncontractors, outsourcing companies, and other parties, will remain\nunchanged.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Danamon, a private-owned commercial bank established in 1956, is a\nconsolidated subsidiary of MUFG Bank, Ltd.\u00a0since 2019. Danamon has a\nconsolidated total assets of Rp275.7 trillion (as of 31 December 2025),\nsupported by a nationwide network that includes conventional bank,\nsharia business unit, and financing through its subsidiary, PT Adira\nDinamika Multi Finance Tbk (\u201cAdira Finance\u201d). Danamon has strong\ncapabilities in serving a broad range of customer segments, including\ncorporates clients, small and medium enterprises, and retail customers.\nMUFG Indonesia, a branch of MUFG Bank, Ltd.\u00a0currently operating in\nIndonesia since 1968, has total assets of Rp207.0 trillion (as of 31\nDecember 2025).
