        "content": "<p>Damages sought for falling billboards<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The City Council has asked the city<br>\nadministration to give adequate compensation to residents who<br>\nsuffered physical and\/or material damages from falling billboards<br>\non Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\"This is the responsibility of the City Revenue Agency, as it<br>\nissued the permits to install the billboards,\" council speaker<br>\nEdy Waluyo said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>None of the agency's officials could be reached for comment.<\/p>\n<p>At least three billboards collapsed during heavy rain and<br>\nstrong winds on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The first one was the Oil Shell billboard in Bendungan Hilir,<br>\nCentral Jakarta. The board fell onto five houses and injured a<br>\nman named Sutrisno.<\/p>\n<p>A small board belonging to the city police internal affairs<br>\ncorps at the Jakarta Police Headquarters on Jl. Sudirman was<br>\nblown down, as was a three meters by 11 meters Park Royale<br>\nbillboard on Jl. Gatot Subroto, which fell onto a security post<br>\nat around 11 a.m. (09)<\/p>",
