Damaged road in Rempoa<\/p>\n

I am depressed to see the condition of the roads in Rempoa.
\nThe stretch running from Rempoa to Bintaro has never been
\nproperly repaired. The street has eroded at the sides and is full
\nof hastily covered potholes.<\/p>\n
The road has become even worse from former diggings of the
\ncity water company, who has perfunctorily covered excavations
\nwith clay. When it rains, the clay turns to mud.<\/p>\n
The road was formerly a village road, which became an
\nalternative shortcut for Ciputat residents traveling to Kebayoran
\nLama. The increased number of people staying in Ciputat and
\nRempoa have made a popular alternative of the Rempoa road to beat
\ntraveling time.<\/p>\n
However, the Tangerang regional office has never paid
\nattention to the condition of the road, which borders Jakarta.
\nThe office simply ignores damaged roads, placing the blame on the
\nJakarta administration. On their part, Jakarta administrators are
\nreluctant to do repairs because it regards roads outside
\nJakarta's boundaries.<\/p>\n
What can be done to attract the regional authorities'
\nattention to our plight? Now that we are celebrating 50 years of
\nindependence, is Rempoa Raya not entitled to its share of road
\nrepairs ?<\/p>\n
