PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has assured that energy availability remains\nstable during the 2026 Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force period. Amid\nrising public mobility, high-quality fuels such as the Pertamax Series\nhave become the primary choice, recording significant consumption\nincreases.<\/p>\n
Based on monitoring data from 9 to 26 March 2026, gasoline fuel\nconsumption rose by an average of around 16.0% compared to normal daily\nconsumption in January 2026. This increase was driven by greater use of\nthe Pertamax Series, in line with public needs for optimal vehicle\nperformance during long-distance journeys.<\/p>\n
The average daily consumption of Pertamax (RON 92) was recorded to\nhave increased by around 33.9%, while Pertamax Turbo, intended for\nhigh-performance vehicles, saw an average daily consumption rise of\n33.7%.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the environmentally friendly product, Pertamax Green,\nrecorded the highest average daily consumption increase of up to 95.8%\ncompared to normal levels. This indicates growing public interest in\nmore eco-friendly fuels.<\/p>\n
The peak gasoline consumption occurred on 19 March 2026, with an\nincrease of 37.8% over normal levels. During the return flow,\nconsumption rose by 20.1% on 26 March 2026.<\/p>\n
For Gasoil products, positive consumption trends were also observed,\nwith average daily Pertamina Dex consumption up 27.4% compared to normal\nand Dexlite up 4.9% compared to normal.<\/p>\n
Additionally, LPG consumption increased by 8.6% and avtur by 4.0%, in\nline with heightened household activities and air transportation during\nthe Eid holiday period. For avtur, the peak consumption occurred during\nthe return flow on 25 March 2026, with an increase of up to 22.1% over\nnormal levels.<\/p>\n
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth M.V. Dumatubun,\nstated that this increase in high-quality fuel consumption aligns with\nthe trend of long-distance travel requiring optimal vehicle\nperformance.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe increase in gasoline consumption, particularly the Pertamax\nSeries, shows that more people are choosing quality fuels to support\nmore comfortable and efficient homecoming and return journeys. Pertamina\nPatra Niaga ensures that all these energy needs are met well through the\nRamadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force,\u201d said Roberth in a press release on\nSaturday (28\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Roberth added that Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared\nvarious infrastructures and additional services to ensure smooth energy\ndistribution.
