        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - PT Dahana has officially penetrated the Australian market\nthrough its inaugural export of 18,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate (AN),\nthe primary raw material for the mining industry.<\/p>\n<p>This step marks the company\u2019s expansion into more competitive global\nmarkets.<\/p>\n<p>PT Dahana\u2019s President Director, Hary Irmawan, described this export\nas a crucial milestone for the company in entering the international\nmarket, particularly Australia, which boasts a large mining sector.<\/p>\n<p>According to Hary, Australia was selected as the export destination\ndue to its high demand for ammonium nitrate in mining activities, both\nopen-pit and underground.<\/p>\n<p>This product is used to support the blasting process, which plays an\nimportant role in increasing the efficiency and productivity of\nlarge-scale mining operations.<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, PT Dahana\u2019s Operations Director, Abdul Haris\nAtbaro, added that this export reflects the company\u2019s readiness not only\nin terms of production capacity but also quality and compliance with\ninternational standards.<\/p>\n<p>The ammonium nitrate export also complements shipments of other\nproducts, namely 250,000 kilograms of Product Package Emulsion, which\nwas earlier received in the international market in April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, East Kalimantan\u2019s Fertiliser Risk Management Director,\nTeguh Ismartono, assessed that this export opens up broader market\nopportunities for national industrial products.<\/p>\n<p>Bontang Mayor Neni Moerniaeni hopes that the export will also drive\nregional economic growth and improve the welfare of the local\ncommunity.<\/p>\n<p>Based on BPS data, on a monthly basis, Indonesia\u2019s export value in\nFebruary 2026 reached 22.17 billion US dollars, up 1.01 percent from\nFebruary 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Where the oil and gas export value was recorded at 1.08 billion US\ndollars, down 4.25 percent, while non-oil and gas exports reached 21.09\nbillion US dollars, up 1.30 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The increase in February exports on an annual basis was mainly driven\nby rises in several commodities.<\/p>\n<p>Then nickel and its derivatives rose 74.84 percent with a\ncontribution of 1.84 percent, and machinery and electrical equipment\nrose 28.43 percent with a contribution of 1.21 percent.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2026, non-oil and gas exports of 21.09 billion US dollars\nwere dominated by the processing industry sector at 18.55 billion US\ndollars.<\/p>",
