        "content": "<p>Yogyakarta, CNBC Indonesia \u2014 Residents of Yogyakarta are beginning to\ncrowd into the Jogja Financial Festival, held at the Jogja Expo Centre\nin Bantul from 22 to 24 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Crowd observations show visitors largely from the younger generation,\nfrom pupils to university students. Schoolchildren in Scout uniforms\nwere also seen attending the event.<\/p>\n<p>Adults were also present, lining up at the entrance from around 08:35\nWIB.<\/p>\n<p>The Jogja Financial Festival 2026, taking place at the Jogja Expo\nCenter (JEC) in Yogyakarta, will be opened by the Chair of the Financial\nServices Authority\u2019s (LPS) Board of Commissioners Anggito Abimanyu, the\nRector of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Ova Emilia, and the Governor of\nthe Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X.<\/p>\n<p>Also present will be the Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the\nFinancial Services Authority (OJK), Friderica Widyasari Dewi, and the\nDeputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Aida S Budiman, who will discuss the\ncurrent state of Indonesia\u2019s financial sector in more depth.<\/p>\n<p>The Jogja Financial Festival 2026, to be held over two days, will\nfeature a range of engaging activities, such as business talks,\neducational classes, and a career corner. Not to be missed, participants\ncan also enjoy other entertainments such as a comedy live show with\nLapor Pak, performing at 13:00 today.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon educational class session, attendees can gain\nknowledge and learn directly how to manage money and invest from\nexperts. Topics to be explored include The New Wealth Era: Market,\nAlgorithm, and Money; Financial Survival for the Young Generation; and\nHow to Manage Finances in the Creative Industry.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of today\u2019s programme, participants will also be treated to\nmusical performances by Happy Asmara and veteran singer Ari Lasso.<\/p>",
