Cyber University students have received appreciation from Sinar Mas\nLand (SML) through the Youthpreneur Batch 2 programme following the\npresentation of innovative business ideas during a monitoring,\nevaluation, and curation session held at the Cyber University campus in\nJakarta on Tuesday (22\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n
During the session, the leadership of Sinar Mas Land\u2019s Corporate\nSocial Responsibility (CSR) and Relationship division, led by SML\nManager AG Priyambodo, reviewed the progress of student businesses and\nassessed the potential of their developed ventures.<\/p>\n
In the curation process, Sinar Mas Land highlighted two student\nbusiness teams from Cyber University: Balagula and V-cycle. Balagula\npresents turmeric tamarind sweets developed to help alleviate menstrual\npain, while V-cycle processes cigarette filter waste, cigarette\npackaging, and plastic into functional ashtrays. Both teams developed\ntheir products through cross-disciplinary collaboration and mentorship\nwithin the Youthpreneur Batch 2 programme.<\/p>\n
The Youthpreneur Batch 2 programme has been running since July 2026,\nproviding a series of entrepreneurship training and mentoring sessions\nfor students. Through this programme, students are given the opportunity\nto develop business ideas directly, ranging from refining concepts to\nproducing products with the potential to be scaled into enterprises.<\/p>\n
The Head of Cyber Center, Dr Anang Martoyo, expressed his\nappreciation for the mentorship provided by Sinar Mas Land to students\nvia the Youthpreneur Batch 2 programme. He noted that the training and\ncuration process provides students with experience in developing\nbusinesses while identifying entrepreneurial opportunities from an\nindustrial perspective.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are grateful for the consistent business training and mentoring\nfrom the Sinar Maland team. Through this direct curation, our students\nreceive real validation to elevate their businesses to the next level,\u201d\nDr Anang stated in a press release on Tuesday (29\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n
The activity also serves as part of the monitoring and evaluation\nprocess regarding the progress of student businesses during their\nparticipation in Youthpreneur Batch 2. Through the curation process,\nSinar Mas Land directly observes the products developed by students\nwhile evaluating their business potential to meet market demands.<\/p>\n
This collaboration is part of Cyber University\u2019s efforts to provide\nentrepreneurial experiences that are closely aligned with the industrial\nworld. Dr Anang hopes that the mentorship provided through Youthpreneur\nBatch 2 will encourage students to continue developing business ideas\nand creating ventures that provide value to society.<\/p>\n
