Jakarta \u2013 The need for protection against cyber attacks based on\ndistributed denial of service (DDoS) is increasing in line with rising\ndigital activity across various industry sectors. Digital infrastructure\nservice providers are expanding their attack mitigation capacity to\nmaintain business service stability and prevent operational\ndisruptions.<\/p>\n
The cloud and hosting service provider IDCloudHost has increased its\nAnti-DDoS capacity through an international partnership with global\ncybersecurity company StormWall. The collaboration is conducted via the\ninternational business entity Cloud Host Pte Ltd.<\/p>\n
The partnership yields integration with StormWall\u2019s scrubbing centre\nnetwork, distributed across several regions globally. The system enables\nmitigation processes to occur before malicious traffic reaches customer\nservers.<\/p>\n
IDCloudHost also increases regional protection capacity up to 1 Tbps,\ndistributed through scrubbing nodes in Singapore, Hong Kong, and\nJakarta. This move is intended to speed up traffic filtering and\nmaintain service stability during traffic spikes caused by cyber\nattacks.<\/p>\n
Chief Technology Officer of IDCloudHost, Faisal Reza, said that DDoS\nattacks today are increasingly complex and massive, requiring protection\nsystems with large capacity and real-time response.<\/p>\n
\u201cDDoS attacks are becoming more complex and massive. Therefore, the\ncollaboration between IDCloudHost and StormWall focuses on delivering\nprotection with large capacity and real-time response,\u201d Faisal said in a\nstatement on Friday (22 May 2026).<\/p>\n
According to him, the Anti-DDoS service is developed through three\nprotection layers, namely website protection, server protection, and\nnetwork protection.<\/p>\n
At the website level, the system filters traffic to reduce server\nload and keep access performance stable. At the server level, protection\nis applied to TCP and UDP traffic without restricting ports or traffic\nvolume.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the system analyses traffic in real time to detect\nsuspicious activity on the network. DNS protection, automatic\nnotifications, and API support are prepared to help customers monitor\nnetwork conditions comprehensively.<\/p>\n
IDCloudHost says all customers can access the DDoS Protection Network\nfacility without restrictions on the amount of traffic or ports. The\nprotection system also operates automatically upon activation of the\nservice without requiring additional configuration from users.<\/p>\n
The company is also beginning to leverage artificial intelligence\n(AI) technology to detect traffic anomalies and predict potential\nattacks before they occur.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith capacities of up to 1 Tbps regionally and global technology\nsupport of more than 5 Tbps, customers no longer need to worry about\ndisruptions from DDoS attacks,\u201d said Faisal.<\/p>\n
