        "content": "<p>Jakarta - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has confirmed that\nthe Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) will not be\ndissolved due to the existence of PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia\n(DSI), which is set to become the sole exporter of Indonesia\u2019s strategic\ncommodities such as crude palm oil (CPO), ferroalloys, and coal. \u201cWill\nCustoms be dissolved? It will not be dissolved,\u201d Purbaya stressed at his\noffice in Jakarta on Friday (5\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Director General of Customs and Excise at the Ministry of Finance,\nDjaka Budhi Utama, added that until December 2026, his office still has\nthe authority to provide inspection services for goods entering and\nleaving the customs area. He emphasised that PT DSI will subsequently\noperate alongside Customs in recording the movement of Indonesia\u2019s\nstrategic commodities out of the customs territory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUntil December, Customs will perhaps continue to provide services as\nusual. What might be facilitated later is DSI itself, which could record\nor work alongside Customs, because the owners of the goods or exporters\nare involved there,\u201d Djaka stated.
