        "content": "<p>CSFB named best foreign bank<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) has been awarded<br>\nthe Asset Triple-A Country Awards for best foreign investment<br>\nbank in Indonesia and Malaysia by banking and finance publication<br>\nThe Asset.<\/p>\n<p>\"CSFB won the distinction in Indonesia, given the bank's<br>\nspread of activity during the past 12 months. CSFB has been<br>\ninvolved in a range of deals ranging from IPOs (initial public<br>\nofferings) to bonds, loans and M&amp;A (mergers and acquisitions),\"<br>\nCSFB quoted the magazine as saying.<\/p>\n<p>Deals handled by CSFB in 2004 include three bonds issues for<br>\nPerusahaan Gas Negara, a high-yield bonds issue for cellular<br>\nservice provider Excelcomindo and a US$385 million syndicated<br>\nloan for PT Kaltim Prima Coal.<\/p>\n<p>\"This award demonstrates CSFB's deep commitment to providing a<br>\nfull range of investment banking services to our clients,\" said<br>\nHelman Sitohang, CSFB head of investment banking for Indonesia<br>\nand Malaysia. -- JP<\/p>",
