        "content": "<p>REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA \u2014 Interest among the younger generation in\ncrypto assets has continued to rise in recent years. This situation\nunderscores the need to strengthen literacy so that investment growth is\nnot solely driven by trends, but also by an understanding of risks.<\/p>\n<p>The CFX crypto exchange, together with the Financial Services\nAuthority (OJK), held education on crypto assets for students at the\nFaculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia in Depok on\nThursday (9\/4\/2026), as an effort to reinforce that understanding.<\/p>\n<p>Based on a 2025 study by LPEM FEB UI, the majority of digital\nfinancial asset owners come from the under-35 age group. This positions\nthe younger generation as the main driver of national digital finance\necosystem growth.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Executive for Supervision of Financial Sector Technology\nInnovation, Digital Financial Assets and Crypto Assets at OJK, Adi\nBudiarso, stated that literacy is the primary foundation in industry\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur main task here as regulators, business actors, and academics is\nnot just about accelerating adoption rates, but ensuring that consumers\ndo not just \u2018follow trends\u2019 or get carried away by FOMO, and receive\nadequate protection,\u201d said Adi.<\/p>\n<p>CFX President Director Subani said education is needed to maintain a\nbalance between industry growth and consumer protection.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe CFX Crypto Exchange organises CFX Connect as a form of\ncross-sector collaboration to improve literacy on crypto assets among\nstudents, to guide the growth of the crypto asset industry in\nIndonesia,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The literacy programme is also complemented by a digital financial\nmarket analysis competition involving students as part of strengthening\npractical understanding.<\/p>\n<p>Manager of Student Affairs at FEB UI, Anna Amalyah Agus, assessed\nthat collaboration between regulators, academics, and industry players\nis important to ensure directed development of the ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is hoped that this initiative can have a positive impact and\nserve as an initial step in establishing a crypto-based investment\ncentre in the campus environment,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>This education effort is considered important so that public\nparticipation in the crypto market is not just driven by trends, but\nbased on an understanding of risks and measured investment\nstrategies.<\/p>",
