A 2025 study by the\nInstitute for Economic and Social Research at the Faculty of Economics\nand Business, Universitas Indonesia (LPEM FEB UI), reveals that the\nmajority of digital financial asset owners are from the under-35 age\ngroup. This phenomenon positions the younger generation as one of the\nkey drivers of national digital finance ecosystem adoption in the\nfuture. In facing this development, awareness of literacy becomes the\nmain key to ensuring sustainable growth that prioritises security and\nconsumer protection aspects. Recognising this crucial role, CFX Crypto\nExchange presents CFX Connect, a strategic literacy platform that\nbridges regulators, industry players, and the younger generation to\ncollaborate in creating a safer, more transparent, and trustworthy\ndigital financial asset ecosystem. In its inaugural edition in 2026, CFX\nConnect adopts the theme \u201cBuilding Trust in the Digital Financial Asset\nEconomy: The Role of Regulation, Market Infrastructure, and Literacy\nthrough the Younger Generation,\u201d held at Universitas Indonesia, Depok.\nThis discussion features panellists from the Financial Services\nAuthority (OJK), academics, and digital industry experts; as a strategic\ninitiative to delve deeper into the dynamics of digital financial assets\nand address educational challenges in this new era. The involvement of\nhundreds of students from various faculties at Universitas Indonesia in\nthis forum makes the programme an open discussion space that enables\ndirect and transparent insight exchange. In this event, the Executive\nHead of Supervision for Financial Sector Technology Innovation, Digital\nFinancial Assets, and Crypto Assets, Adi Budiarso, was present. He\nconveyed points on the importance of crypto asset transaction literacy.\n\u201cOur main task here as regulators, business actors, and academics is not\njust about accelerating adoption rates, but ensuring that consumers do\nnot just \u2018follow trends\u2019 or get caught up in FOMO, and receive adequate\nprotection,\u201d Adi explained. \u201cWe do not want the market to become a pure\nspeculation arena, where people are only lured by the \u2018get rich quick\u2019\nnarrative without understanding the accompanying risks,\u201d he added.\nMeanwhile, the President Director of CFX Crypto Exchange, Subani, said,\n\u201cCFX Crypto Exchange organises CFX Connect as a form of cross-sector\ncollaboration to enhance crypto asset literacy among students, to guide\nthe growth of the crypto asset industry in Indonesia.\u201d \u201cBehind the great\npotential, the digital financial asset industry like crypto assets also\nfaces several dynamics that need to be managed wisely.
