What? Gus Dur has apologized to the Indonesian Communist Party
\n(PKI)? You must be wrong! Have you heard correctly? So, in what
\ncapacity has Gus Dur made the apology? As a private person or as

\na commoner serving as the leader of NU.<\/p>\n
Gus, if you do not retract your statement, the PKI will demand
\nthe revocation of Stipulation of the Provisional People's
\nConsultative Assembly (MPRS) banning and disbanding the PkI. They
\nwill later set up a neo-PKI with a new face and name. In this
\ncase, we, the entire Indonesian people, will demand your
\naccountability in this respect.<\/p>\n
Gus, if you are insistent on this stance, either as a private
\nperson or a national leader, you must extend your apology not
\nonly to the PKI but also to the Dutch people and the Japanese
\nbecause the Indonesian people stood against them and wrested
\ntheir independence. They have also daringly defended their
