Early in November last year, I had the misfortune of being
\ncheated by a swindler named Lila binti H. Tibi and her accomplice
\nEka Iktriastuti.<\/p>\n
This is the way they run their operation: they proclaim
\nthemselves as psychics who have an orphanage. They then create a
\nsituation in which you become helpless by saying that you are
\nunder the influence of magic spells. To ward off the evil
\nspirits, you must perform a ritual ceremony costing quite a lot
\nof money: millions of rupiah.<\/p>\n
At first, I didn't believe their words but later I succumbed
\nto their wiles as they claimed religion as their basis. I began
\nto be suspicious as they demanded more money without any apparent
\nresults. The head of the local neighborhood association confirmed
\nmy suspicions, saying that there had been a lot of victims
\ncheated out of their money.<\/p>\n
The financial loss I suffered was not as bad as the moral
\ndamage done to me, as one of them (Eka Iktriastuti) spread
\ndamaging rumors about me, despite my efforts to find her a job.<\/p>\n
I have reported the case to the police and the authorities at
\nIISIP, but so far there has been no response.<\/p>\n
I appeal to Lila and Iktriastuti to stop their evil ways and
\nwould suggest that readers be on the alert when dealing with
\nthese two crooks. Physical characteristics: Lila, tall and fat,
\nhas dark complexion, straight hair and thick lips, while Eka
\nIktriastuti is tall, has a fair complexion, is of medium weight
\nand wears a Muslim head scarf. In their efforts to convince their
\nmarks, they always use Islamic symbols and quote Islamic verses.<\/p>\n
