        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Cybercrime Directorate of the Indonesian\nNational Police\u2019s Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) has affirmed\nthat the criminal proceedings in the case involving comedian Pandji\nPragiwaksono will continue, even though he has undergone a customary\nhearing in Toraja, South Sulawesi.<\/p>\n<p>The Director of the Cybercrime Directorate of the Indonesian National\nPolice\u2019s Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Pol Himawan Bayu\nAji, stated that investigators are still actively pursuing the case by\nexamining several witnesses and experts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegarding the progress of Pandji\u2019s case, 14 witnesses and 9 experts\nhave been examined. Yesterday, the latest examination involved the\nadministrator of Pandji\u2019s account, to complete the investigation,\u201d said\nHimawan when met at the National Police Headquarters, Wednesday\n(25\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the customary hearing that Pandji attended in Toraja,\nHimawan stated that this is part of the \u2018living law\u2019 or customary law\npracticed in the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of these actions are concrete steps in accordance with the\n\u2018living law,\u2019 and also in accordance with national law,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd this is what we are doing in parallel with the investigation,\u201d\nhe added.<\/p>\n<p>According to Himawan, investigators will thoroughly review the\nresults of further examinations after the customary hearing before\ndrawing final conclusions in this case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will see what the outcome is after further examinations following\nhis participation in the customary hearing in Toraja,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Himawan assured that, even though the customary hearing has been\ncompleted, the criminal proceedings will continue.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Pandji\u2019s status is still as a witness.<\/p>\n<p>He added that Pandji has been previously examined and there is a\npossibility that he will be called in for further examination.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a possibility that he will be examined again,\u201d said\nHimawan.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, investigators are also open to examining parties\ninvolved in the implementation of the customary court in Toraja if\nneeded in the investigation process.<\/p>",
