        "content": "<p>Crackdown on trippers hailed<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Ancol Dreamland Park&apos;s owner, PT Pembangunan<br>\nJaya, said yesterday the company did not like the park being used<br>\nas a haven by drug dealers and junkies.<\/p>\n<p>The company&apos;s president, Hanafi Lauw, told journalists that<br>\ndespite the probability of losing some visitors, his company<br>\nwould continue to support police operations in the area.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We need to cooperate with the police as we do not have the<br>\nauthority to inspect visitor&apos;s belongings,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>The police have conducted four operations in the area this<br>\nmonth; about 85 Ecstasy pills were seized from 23 young people at<br>\nthe last operation on Jan. 19.<\/p>\n<p>Company executive Tanto Kurniawan said Ancol&apos;s management was<br>\nnot worried by the prospect of lost income.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The loss is very insignificant,&quot; he said, and added he would<br>\nrather &quot;trippers&quot; stay away from Ancol than accept their visits<br>\nfor profit&apos;s sake.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, head of the Art and Culture Department of the<br>\nGolkar ruling group central board, Ais Anantama Said, urged the<br>\nCity Administration to revoke all permits for Ancol Dream Land.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The park has been warned many times.
