        "content": "<p>Jakarta - A joint team of officials cracked down on illegal parking\nand street vendor (PKL) stalls beside Lebak Bulus MRT Station in South\nJakarta on Friday (24\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The enforcement action followed social media spotlight on the illegal\nparking, as rows of motorbikes were blocking part of the road and\ntriggering congestion on Jalan Kembang Raya.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the presence of PKL stalls at the intersection of Jalan\nRA Kartini was obstructing traffic access.<\/p>\n<p>Based on observations at the site on Friday, motorbikes parked in two\nrows were moved by officials to a new parking area on vacant land owned\nby PT Sarana Jaya, located beside Poins Square Mall.<\/p>\n<p>The illegal parking relied upon by groups of workers on Jalan Kembang\nLestari beside the MRT Station depot is now prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>This is because motorbikes parked there cover part of the road,\nfrequently causing congestion on that two-way street.<\/p>\n<p>Rano Karno urged residents not to create illegal parking there\nanymore.<\/p>\n<p>Rano also requested Satpol PP officers to dismantle the PKL stalls.\nThis is because the stalls under the corrugated iron roof also block\npart of the road.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the PKL location directly facing the MRT depot,\nwhich is bordered by a high wall, is quite dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese stalls too, in my words, I ask for permission. It\u2019s not that\nbusiness is not allowed, it is, but later we will prepare the place.
