        "content": "<p>Court told to boost security<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Supreme Court Chief Justice Bagir Manan urged courts<br>\non Friday across the country to improve security and uphold<br>\nexisting rulings to ensure the safety of judges and the public<br>\nduring court hearings.<\/p>\n<p>He made the statement following a tragic murder this week at a<br>\nSidoardjo religious court in East Java. A Navy colonel stabbed to<br>\ndeath his former wife after losing a case against the latter. He<br>\nthen stabbed judge Achmad Taufiq to death.<\/p>\n<p>\"One of the measures that must be taken is to uphold rulings<br>\non court hearings, in which visitors are not allowed to carry<br>\nweapons,\" Bagir said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the Supreme Court also planned to install metal<br>\ndetectors in courts and coordinate with the police to improve<br>\nsecurity particularly for the judges.-- Antara<\/p>",
