        "content": "<p>Court convicts terror accomplices<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Three men were found guilty on Tuesday of aiding<br>\nwanted terrorist suspects Azahari bin Husin and Noordin Mohd Top,<br>\nwho are both currently still on the run, to avoid arrest, and for<br>\nfailing to inform the authorities as to their whereabouts.<\/p>\n<p>The South Jakarta District Court sentenced Bagus Budi Pranoto<br>\nand Luthfi Haidaroh to three-and-a-half years in jail each, while<br>\nSon Hadi was jailed for four years.<\/p>\n<p>The judicial panel said the three were guilty beyond<br>\nall reasonable doubt of violating the antiterrorism law,<br>\nwhich carries a maximum penalty of death. Police arrested them<br>\nfollowing the bomb attack on the JW Marriot Hotel in South<br>\nJakarta in August 2003.<\/p>\n<p>Although rejecting the verdict, the convicted defendants said<br>\nthey would not appeal it.<\/p>\n<p>Azahari and Noordin have also been accused of masterminding<br>\nthe Bali bombings in 2002 and the attack on the Australian<br>\nEmbassy in Jakarta last September. -- Antara<\/p>",
