A couple who were drug dealers were arrested by police while together\nin a boarding room in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). They are\nidentified as the man with the initials IS (37) and DN (25).<\/p>\n
\u201cWe secured both of them inside the boarding room,\u201d said the Head of\nthe Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Mataram City Police, AKP\nRemanto, on Sunday (5\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n
Remanto revealed that IS is a resident of Perampuan Village, Labuapi\nDistrict, West Lombok, NTB. Meanwhile, DN is a resident of West Java\n(Jabar).<\/p>\n
The arrest of IS and DN stemmed from a public report. The report\nrevealed that the suspects\u2019 boarding house was frequently used as a\nplace for crystal methamphetamine transactions.<\/p>\n
Police then conducted an investigation. The couple were finally\narrested by police on Saturday (4\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n
During a search of the boarding room, police found evidence including\na glass pipe containing crystal methamphetamine, IDR 495,000 in cash,\nscissors, a lighter, empty plastic clips, and a mobile phone.<\/p>\n
Police then continued the search at IS\u2019s house in Perampuan Village.\nThere, police found four packages of crystal methamphetamine and IDR 22\nmillion in cash suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe gross weight of the crystal methamphetamine we secured is 45.04\ngrammes,\u201d Remanto stated.<\/p>\n
Preliminary interrogation results indicate that both were drug\ndealers operating in Mataram.
