Feisal<br>\nTanjung said Indonesia needs more people who are dissatisfied<br>\nwith current developments, yet trust the system enough to strive<br>\nfor improvements from within.<\/p>\n<p>People who are dissatisfied and yet loyal to the state<br>\nideology Pancasila and the constitution will strive to make the<br>\nnation progress even farther, Feisal told a meeting of the chiefs<br>\nof military district commands in Bandung, West Java, yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>\"We need more people who are dissatisfied with conditions, but<br>\nbelieve that, with Pancasila and the Constitution, the national<br>\nstability and development can be maintained,\" he was quoted by<br>\nAntara as saying.<\/p>\n<p>He said there are three groups of people, each with a<br>\ndifferent view of national development. The first group consists<br>\nof \"conservative people who are satisfied with the current<br>\nsituation, and believe the existing system would bring even<br>\ngreater improvement in the future\".<\/p>\n<p>The second group is constituted of \"moderate people who are<br>\ndissatisfied with the current condition, but believe the system<br>\ncan still be relevant in the future\", he said.<\/p>\n<p>The third group is comprised of \"radical people who are<br>\ndissatisfied with the current condition and distrust the system\",<br>\nhe said.<\/p>\n<p>Feisal asked the military leaders to treat the \"non-moderate\"<br>\ngroup wisely and educate it about the results of the efforts<br>\ntowards national development and about the national ideology.<\/p>\n<p>Feisal also told the military chiefs to guide their men in<br>\n\"becoming role models for society and avoiding behavior which<br>\nmight either offend public opinion or damage the image of ABRI\".<\/p>\n<p>Anticipating the heating up of the political climate in<br>\nanticipation of the 1997 general elections, Feisal asked all<br>\nmilitary personnel to be alert, in order to prevent or handle<br>\npotential problems in society.
