        "content": "<p>Councillors face questioning<\/p>\n<p>PALEMBANG, South Sumatra: Three councillors from the South<br>\nSumatra Legislative Council will be questioned by the<br>\nprosecutor's office about a Rp 7.5 billion (US$860,000) scandal<br>\nthat allegedly involves 11 councillors.<\/p>\n<p>\"We are still processing the letter of permission to question<br>\nthe three councillors,\" Attorney General's Office spokesman<br>\nAntasari Azhar said on Friday during a visit to Palembang.<\/p>\n<p>Antasari said he did not know the names of the legislators to<br>\nbe questioned as they were still in the hands of Minister of Home<br>\nAffairs Hari Sabarno.<\/p>\n<p>So far the local prosecutor's office has questioned three<br>\ncouncillors about the scandal: Zamzami Achmad, Natsir Djakfar<br>\nand Yusfar Hidayatullah, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\"We do not intend to delay the inquiry of the scandal,\"<br>\nAntasari said.<\/p>\n<p>He said there were similar cases in the provinces of Riau,<br>\nWest Sumatra and North Sumatra.-Antara<\/p>",
