Cosmetics shipment thieves arrested<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: City police officers said they had arrested six
\npeople last week in Pekayon subdistrict, Pasar Rebo, East
\nJakarta, for alleged theft of a full-size shipping container
\nloaded with cosmetics, which was about to be exported.<\/p>\n
Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Tjiptono said the six
\nsuspects, identified as Sarifudin, 38, Ruslan Alvian Elan, 38,
\nEndi Suhean, 37, Tri Rusmanto, 38, Hendra, 33 and Suherman
\nWinata, 48, were now in detention at the city police station.<\/p>\n
He said that they were still searching for five others
\nidentified as Pendi, Dede, Soleh, Abdul and Ody.<\/p>\n
Police managed to arrest the suspects after Kusman Bimantoro,
\ndirector of PT Vadil Perdana Kusman Bintoro, which owns the
\nmerchandise, reported to police that they lost a shipment of
\ncosmetics on May 15.<\/p>\n
The company said that they received complaints from importers
\nin Dubai that they never received goods that had been ordered.
