        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice-Chairman of DPR RI Commission XIII Andreas\nHugo Pareira stated that the case of a corruption inmate wandering\noutside the Detention Centre to a cafe in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi,\nmust be investigated thoroughly. \u201cCases of inmates wandering outside\nprisons or detention centres usually occur because prison or detention\nstaff are bribed, so the individual concerned needs special sanctions;\nit must be investigated thoroughly,\u201d Andreas said in Jakarta on Friday.\nPreviously, a corruption inmate named Supriadi was seen relaxing at a\ncoffee shop with detention staff, which went viral on social media. He\nassessed that the issue needs to be followed up further, so it is not\nenough to just examine the staff, but a comprehensive evaluation of the\nmechanisms for exit permissions, inmate escorts, and risk-based\nsupervision standards is also required. \u201cBecause if supervision only\nstops at individual sanctions, the root institutional problems will not\nbe addressed,\u201d he said.
