The Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) has moved swiftly to investigate\nallegations of corruption against Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri\nThobari following a sting operation. During the operation, investigators\nsecured various pieces of evidence including strategic documents,\nelectronic records, and cash in rupiah.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn this sting operation, the team not only secured a number of\nindividuals but also secured evidence, including documents, electronic\nevidence, and cash,\u201d stated KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the Red\nand White Building in South Jakarta on Tuesday (10 March).<\/p>\n
Prasetyo explained that the seized cash consists of rupiah currency.\nHowever, the exact amount will be disclosed in detail during the next\npress conference.<\/p>\n
In total, the KPK arrested 13 individuals in this operation. Of\nthese, nine have been transferred to Jakarta for further investigation\nat the anti-corruption agency\u2019s headquarters.<\/p>\n
