Correction from Guthrie<\/p>\n
We represent Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad in their dispute with PT
\nAdhiyasa Saranamas for an alleged breach of contract. In
\nreference to the article published in Aug. 16 edition of The
\nJakarta Post covering this dispute, we wish to correct the
\nstatement that the South Jakarta District Court has "granted a
\nrequest by Adhiyasa to sequester Guthrie's 20 percent stake in
\nPT. Salim Ivomas Pratama, its 21.59 percent stake in PT Serikat
\nPutra, and its 70 percent stake in PT Guthrie Pecconina
\nIndonesia." The court has not granted any such attachment.<\/p>\n
Indeed, we have questioned the basis for Adhiyasa's request in
\nview of Guthrie's strong financial position and the nature of
\nAdhiyasa's claim.<\/p>\n
