        "content": "<p>Cop killer dies of cancer<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Teacher-turned murderer, Baskoni Wahab, 50,<br>\nwho just began his four-year jail term for killing a police<br>\nofficer, died in the Persahabatan Hospital in East Jakarta of<br>\nlung cancer yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>City Police Spokesman Lt. Col. Iman Haryatna told The Jakarta<br>\nPost last night that Baskoni, a senior high school teacher, died<br>\nat 3:00 p.m. yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>\"He apparently had been suffering from the disease for quite a<br>\nlong time,\" Iman said.<\/p>\n<p>Baskoni collapsed after the judge completed reading the guilty<br>\nverdict at his sentencing in December.<\/p>\n<p>Baskoni was found guilty of killing Maj.
