        "content": "<p>Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and\nCorrections, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, is monitoring the transfer of three\nalleged corruption cases involving former Junior Attorney General for\nSpecial Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, from the Indonesian\nNational Police to the Attorney General\u2019s Office. Yusril reminded that\nthe Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) can intervene in the case.\nYusril noted that a supervisory mechanism already exists within the\nIndonesian legal system, highlighting that the KPK can conduct\nsupervision in this matter. \u201cThe KPK has the authority to carry out\nsupervision in accordance with the law. In addition, public oversight is\nalso very important so that the entire process proceeds according to the\nprinciples of the rule of law,\u201d Yusril said in a statement on Tuesday\n(14\/7\/2026). The police have named two individuals as suspects in a corruption\nand money laundering investigation following searches conducted this\nweek. The two suspects have the initials BR and FA, with FA referring to\nFebrie Adriansyah, the former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes\nwho resigned on Saturday (11\/7\/2026). The joint police investigative\nteam named the two suspects in connection with corruption and money\nlaundering related to coal procurement, Asabri, Jiwasraya, and Krakatau\nSteel. In the current police handling of the case, a joint team from the\nPolda Metro Jaya Special Criminal Investigation Directorate and the\nCorruption Crime Task Force has examined 15 witnesses. It was not\nmentioned whether FA has been examined. A series of searches were\nconducted from Wednesday (8\/7\/2027) at 12 separate locations in Jakarta\nand Bogor, West Java.
