        "content": "<p>Purwokerto (ANTARA) - Coordinating Minister (Menko) for Food Affairs\nZulkifli Hasan has asked managers of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service\nUnits (SPPG) to prioritise the national nutrition fulfilment mission in\nimplementing the nutritious meal programme, rather than being solely\nprofit-oriented.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are the suppliers for SPPG; the nutritious meal programme is not\njust a business matter. We are carrying the mission to advance\nIndonesian civilisation,\u201d said Zulkifli Hasan, who is familiarly known\nas Zulhas, after attending a Lecture and Dialogue with Heads of SPPG and\nFoundation Partners throughout Banyumas at the Banyumas District\nMuhammadiyah Regional Leadership Building (PDM), Central Java, on\nSaturday.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the nutritious meal programme run through SPPG is part\nof the government\u2019s strategic efforts to improve the quality of\nIndonesian human resources from an early age.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, good nutrition fulfilment will directly impact\nchildren\u2019s growth and development, both physically and in terms of\ncognitive abilities.<\/p>\n<p>He assessed that a healthy and intelligent young generation is the\nmain key for Indonesia to compete with other countries amid increasingly\ncompetitive global dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the existence of SPPG must be viewed as an important\ninstrument in national development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur mission is to build Indonesian children who are physically\nhealthy, mentally healthy, intelligent, so they can compete with other\ncountries,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Although profits remain part of SPPG operations, he said that is not\nthe main goal.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the sustainability of the programme is determined\nby the managers\u2019 commitment to maintaining service quality and ensuring\nthe distribution of nutritious food runs well and on target.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, Zulhas also emphasised the importance of integrity\nand professionalism in SPPG management.<\/p>\n<p>He reminded all involved parties to carry out their mandate with full\nresponsibility, given that the programme concerns the future of the\nnation\u2019s generation.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, he invited SPPG heads and foundation partners to work\nwith full dedication and sincerity.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the success of the nutritious meal programme is not\nonly determined by the system but also by the spirit of service from the\nimplementers in the field.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI ask you to work with heart, with love for the Red and White, love\nfor our children,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Lecture and Dialogue event themed \u201cTrustworthy and Professional\nSPPG Management\u201d was attended by 300 SPPG heads and foundation partners\nthroughout Banyumas.<\/p>\n<p>The forum serves as a means to strengthen coordination, enhance\nmanagers\u2019 capacity, and align perceptions regarding the implementation\nof the nutrition fulfilment programme in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Through this activity, all stakeholders are expected to become\nincreasingly solid in supporting the national nutritious meal programme,\nso that its benefits can be widely felt by the community, especially\nchildren as the nation\u2019s next generation.<\/p>",
