The retired military officer assured that every legal\nviolation will be processed according to the rules without\ndiscrimination. Djamari acknowledged that corruption has been a\nlong-standing challenge for the nation. However, he stated that the\ngovernment is committed to reform, enforcement, and cleansing. \u201cThere is\nno room for anyone proven to have violated the law. Regardless of their\ninstitutional origin or position, every violation will be processed and\ndealt with firmly in accordance with applicable legal provisions,\u201d\nDjamari said in a written statement on Sunday, 12 July 2026. Responding\nto heightened public attention on recent corruption revelations, Djamari\nurged the public to view the phenomenon wisely and proportionally. He\nargued that the large number of cases being uncovered does not mean\ncorrupt practices are increasing, but rather serves as an indicator of\nthe state\u2019s strong commitment to cleaning up governance. Furthermore,\nDjamari conveyed that the government fully supports the ongoing legal\nenforcement process.
