"summary": "Indonesian House of Representatives member Bambang Haryo Soekartono has raised concerns over the rising prices of subsidised cooking oil, which exceed the government's Maximum Retail Price (HET), warning that such deviations could constitute corruption due to the use of state budget funds. He called for immediate intervention by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and police to investigate and prosecute offenders, alongside a comprehensive audit of the distribution chain. Trade Minister Budi Santoso attributed the price increase partly to surging plastic packaging costs, highlighting the need for stricter enforcement to protect consumers.",
