        "content": "<p>Contest for fun teaching activity<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: In an attempt to improve the quality of education,<br>\nthe Citibank Peka and Hope Worldwide Indonesia foundation are<br>\nsponsoring the CitiSuccess Fund by inviting high school teachers<br>\nin Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi and Tangerang to submit teaching<br>\nactivity proposals that are unique, creative and fun.<\/p>\n<p>There are three activities offered in the annual program:<br>\nimproving English skills, preserving culture and local arts and<br>\nnarrowing the gap between generations, ethnic groups, gender and<br>\nsocial status.<\/p>\n<p>Two hundred winners will get Rp 5 million (US$562) each to<br>\nconduct their proposed activities. The best five will be<br>\nannounced in early February 2005 and each will receive Rp 5<br>\nmillion while the schools will get Rp 10 million.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline is July 9 for submission of entries. Teachers can<br>\nsend their proposals to CitiSuccess Fund PO Box 3856, Jakarta<br>\n10038 or online at http:\/\/id.hopeww.org\/citisuccess. -- JP<\/p>",
