There were no fatalities\nor injuries reported during the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after the incident was identified, the NPCT1 team\nimplemented emergency response procedures, prioritising personnel safety\nand the securing of the affected area. The response involved deploying\nfirefighting facilities and coordinating with relevant parties to\ncontrol the situation on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>NPCT1 Corporate Planning Manager, Christine Margaretha Manasseh,\nstated that personnel safety and area security were the primary\npriorities from the start of the response.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs soon as the incident was known, our team immediately executed\nemergency response procedures, secured the affected area, and\ncoordinated with relevant parties during the extinguishing process. Our\nmain focus was to ensure the situation could be controlled while\nprioritising the safety of personnel and the security of the terminal\narea,\u201d said Christine.<\/p>\n<p>After the fire was successfully extinguished, officers continued with\nthe cooling down process, securing, and monitoring the affected area to\nensure conditions remained safe and to prevent the potential for any\nre-ignition.<\/p>\n<p>As the situation has been brought under control, NPCT1 has begun the\ngradual recovery of operational activities. This recovery is being\nconducted with careful consideration of field inspections to ensure that\nall safety and security aspects are met before the operational area is\nreturned to use.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are restoring operational activities gradually. The entire\nprocess is being carried out with great caution, considering the field\nconditions, as the safety and security of personnel remains our priority\nin every stage of the recovery,\u201d Christine added.<\/p>",
