        "content": "<p>Construction worker plunges to death<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): A laborer at an apartment building still under<br>\nconstruction fell to his death yesterday while installing outdoor<br>\nwall panels on the 12th floor.<\/p>\n<p>Maryono, a 24-year-old resident of Serang, West Java, fell to<br>\nhis death at around 10:00 a.m. at the 26-story Pavilion Park<br>\nApartment location on Jl. K. H. Mas Mansyur, Central Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>According to his supervisor he was dead before he was taken to<br>\nthe Mintohardjo Navy Hospital. His dead body was later delivered<br>\nto the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>An eyewitness said the victim was not wearing a safety belt<br>\nwhile working. The witness said the hook hoisting him up to the<br>\n12th floor broke, causing him to fall to his death.<\/p>\n<p>Tanah Abang Police Chief Capt. Martanto said his office is<br>\nstill investigating the case and could not give further<br>\ninformation.<\/p>\n<p>The wall was being installed by a sub-contractor, PT.<br>\nGriyaton, which is under contract with state-owned PT.
