        "content": "<p>Construction booms in KL<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): Malaysia's construction industry, crucial<br>\nto the nation's dream of becoming a developed state in 25 years,<br>\nis set to be the biggest local revenue earner this year, a<br>\ngovernment agency said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The building sector is expected to chalk an additional 33.9<br>\npercent in earnings for 1995, compared to the 15.4 percent<br>\nexpansion forecast for the transport division, the second largest<br>\nportion of the Malaysian business pie, the statistics department<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Outlining its Business Expectations Survey of Limited<br>\nCompanies for the first six months, the department said other<br>\nsectors expected to enjoy higher revenue were retail (14.1<br>\npercent), wholesale (13 percent), manufacturing (11 percent) and<br>\nfinance (8.7 percent).<\/p>\n<p>The department said 126 companies which responded to the<br>\nsurvey did not anticipate any operational constraints this year.<\/p>",
