The Constitutional Court (MK) held 11 sessions to pronounce rulings\nand decrees during the period from January to June 2026, granting 19\npetitions for judicial review of laws. According to the MK\u2019s official\nInstagram account in Jakarta on Monday, the 19 granted petitions\nincluded reviews of the Higher Education Law, the Press Law, the Flats\nLaw, the Criminal Procedure Code, the Law on Persons with Disabilities,\nand the Law on the Eradication of Corruption. Other laws reviewed\nincluded the Election Law, the Advocates Law, the Law on the Development\nand Strengthening of the Financial Sector, the Government Administration\nLaw, and the Health Law.<\/p>\n

Among the 19 petitions granted by the MK was petition number\n128\/PUU-XXIV\/2026 concerning women\u2019s representation in elections of at\nleast 30 per cent.
