Constitutional Court Justice Anwar Usman has entered retirement. He\nwas officially farewelled in the Plenary Session Room at the\nConstitutional Court Building I.<\/p>\n
Chief Justice Suhartoyo congratulated Anwar on the end of his tenure\nas a justice. He noted that Anwar had accompanied the Constitutional\nCourt for 15 years.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn this occasion, as a leader\u2014one of the leaders at the\nConstitutional Court\u2014I first extend my congratulations to His Honourable\nProfessor Doctor Anwar Usman, as mentioned earlier, up to today or\nprecisely until 6 April, he has fully completed his duties of service\nand dedication at the Constitutional Court for 15 years,\u201d said Chief\nJustice Suhartoyo in his remarks on Monday (13\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
Suhartoyo then expressed thanks for Anwar\u2019s service. He mentioned\nlearning much from Anwar\u2019s example.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnce again, thank you to His Honourable Prof.\u00a0Anwar Usman for his\nservice, dedication, and commitment, which in certain aspects may have\nsparked considerable media attention, but on the other hand, I have\ndrawn many lessons from it, many good things that I follow and take as a\nrole model,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Next, Suhartoyo welcomed two new Constitutional Court justices. The\ntwo are Adies Kadir and Liliek Prisbawono Adi.<\/p>\n
\u201cThen, to His Honourable Mr Adies and Mr Liliek, on behalf of the\nentire Constitutional Court family, we extend a warm welcome and\ncongratulations on joining the Constitutional Court,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
For information, Anwar Usman entered retirement on 6 April 2026.\nAnwar will also turn 70 on 31 December 2026.<\/p>\n
Liliek Prisbawono Adi officially became a Constitutional Court\njustice replacing Anwar Usman, who has retired. Liliek took the oath of\noffice as a Constitutional Court justice before President of the\nRepublic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto on Friday (10\/4) at Merdeka\nPalace.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Adies Kadir was appointed as a Constitutional Court\njustice replacing Justice Arief Hidayat.
